Hi everyone! What is it that you truly desire in life? Is it more time, freedom or financial ease? If so, I wanted to take some time today and share with you a little bit about my life, and how I’ve arrived at where I am today and what I am doing differently today that has made a huge difference in my life.
I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. My parents had always provided me with a very loving home, but also a home focused on “self wealth.” I use this term because it was truly self wealth in its entirety (Lifestyle, Financial, Relationships, Education, Environment, Social Network, etc.). My 3 siblings and I were always raised to be the best beings we could be, do the best we could and achieve the most that we could achieve, but always doing everything ethically and morally.
With this foundation ingrained in me, for most of my adult life, there had always been 3 core things that I was and still are most passionate about, that I have practiced and continue to do so: Being Able To Provide For Those Closest To Me, Absolutely Loving What I Do Professionally and Assisting Others on How to Live A Better Quality of Life.
You see, I had always been an entrepreneur at heart, but for some reason, society raised me differently. We as a society tend to do what others around us do and rarely question that way of living. I went through years of school, guided on this assumption that after I had received my college degree that everything was going to be fine and that I’d somehow end up happy and financially free with a great JOB. Let’s just say that life didn’t turn out that way.
I had managed to save up some money over the years and ended up opening my own business. I spent years building and actually operating my own business. The only problem was that I had absolutely no free time because I was a business owner. This did not feel right. I felt like for what I was giving, I was receiving no ease in return, which was one of the reasons for wanting to be a business owner. I’m sure some business owners can relate. I felt like a slave in my own business.
After that, I then spent years in the corporate industry working extreme hours as if I were the actual business owner, but I was actually building other people’s businesses so that they could live their dream lifestyles. You’re probably wondering why I would do that? I was using this time for gaining a ton of experience and knowledge, because I knew one day it would be different. I was in preparation mode. However after years of doing this, I was feeling unsettled because I knew deep down that there was something in me that could create that for myself and I was determined to create it. Only this time around, I was going to be smarter.
From the words of Bob Proctor asking “What is it that you really want in life?” I asked myself this DAILY and realized that I truly wanted to venture out and pursue something that would fulfill MY goals and MY passions in life and allow me to be able to live the lifestyle I wanted; something that I could pursue for myself and also be able to provide for the people closest to me. I also wanted a life where I could make my own schedule and be able to work from wherever I want, a life of true freedom and financial ease.
I knew deep in my heart that I’ve always been a hard worker no matter what task I was performing, like I’m sure most of you are, which is why I started searching for something more than what I currently had. And that’s when I discovered an opportunity that allows me to be an entrepreneur, but live free of a lot of the headaches that comes along with being a brick and mortar business owner.
